Sexual abuse is the worst kind of abuse. Children that have been sexually abused suffer mentally, emotionally and pysically. Children around the age of 9-13 are at the risk of getting abused; sexually. Since They are young they feel lost, alone and sometimies worthless.
For some, theres no healing. For others it takes a LONG time to heal. Being sexually abused leaves long lasting, deep scars. As sexually abused children start growing up, the deeper that scar gets. When they come foward and try to get help, the person they tell, doesnt believe them. When have nothing or no one to help heal that, they may turn to alcohol and drugs to heal the pain. For some attempt of suicide is the best choice.
1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys have experienced an episode of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Sexual abuse muust be stopped. No child should go through hell so young. If a child tells you they are being or have been sexually abused, get them help rite away!
