Family Facades
Yesterday I saw a family. A family in a resteraunt. They seemed happy. Seemed. Behind the facade of stilted happiness, there was more. It might just be a bit of pain blistering beneath the surface, but it was there, the refelctive glass can't hide that. Right now, they're sitting down to a nice dinner. Formal updates exchanged. Work was good. School was good. The dog needs to be walked. Okay mom. A picture perfect moment in the eyes of American society. Click.
