Reminisce
Summer is peaches and ice cream. It’s movies and staying up til you can’t keep your eyes open. It’s planning on doing all the things you never have time for and not doing them just because you can. It’s traveling to places no photograph can do justice to. It’s forming relationships and forging memories that will last forever. It’s growing up yet feeling younger at the same time.
Sometimes summer is feeling lonely. And disconnected. Sometimes there is too much time and not enough to do to distract from the thoughts running through your mind. Sometimes summer is frustrating.
I cherish it all, even the flaws and imperfections, because someday there will be a point in my life where summer won’t be the same. Can’t be the same.
