Steve Jobs; The Man Who Thought Different is a biography of a man who changed the technological world. This book displays the set backs, hardships, and successes of Steve Jobs. A critically acclaimed children’s nonfiction writer and longtime journalist of the Wall Street Journal, Karen Blumenthal writes of Steve’s long and prosperous life journey. This book reflects reality by it making the reader feel like they were part of Steve Job’s long journey. It makes the reader feel emotions for Steve as they follow his life story. This book makes readers feel remorse for his failures, and ecstatic for his successes. It keeps reality in check because the book was not a completely happy story. For every Accomplishment that Steve had, it seemed as though he had two setbacks or hardships. After every sentence you read, it makes you want to read the next. This book was addicting! Karen Blumenthal does an extremely good job of portraying Steve Job’s life as it happens. Not only does Karen Blumenthal make the reader feel emotions for characters in the biography, but she makes the reader want more, and more. My personal belief about this book is simple. Outstanding! By far one of the best books I have ever read cover to cover. It is a book for all ages. Karen displays a life of accomplishment in a simple and symbolic way. She makes the reader want to live up to Steve’s standards. It is a good book for kids to read. It will make kids follow Steve Job’s lead and do what they love to do. This amazing book is one that will be commemorated for decades to come. Karen Blumenthal does an amazing job explaining the hardships that Steve Jobs had to endure through his life of success. Her descriptions make the reader feel like he or she is present in the journey of the Apple Co-Founder. After long, sleepless nights in his garage, Steve Jobs and Steve Woznaik developed the first Apple circuit board. This product would change the world. Developing this product would eventually lead Apple to become one of the most well sought out companies in the world. Steve Jobs not only started Apple Inc., but also NeXT Computer Company and he helped develop Pixar. This biography takes the reader through the journey of starting some of the most prestigious companies in the world. Karen Blumenthal does a stupendous job of exemplifying the benevolent and selfless personality of Steve Jobs. Steve only makes $1.00 per year. He gives all of his paycheck back to the company to give as bonuses to the workers. Karen praises Steve for being so caring for the workers of his extremely successful company. This biography was one of prosperity and fortune and will be revered for years to come.
