The Route MAG
I am writing in response to your request for kids to write about their jobs. I have had my paper route for three years now and it is a very hard job. I have fifty papers to deliver and I have to deliver them seven-days-a-week and three-hundred-and-sixty-three-days a year because I get Christmas and Thanksgiving off. Last winter wasn't the best for delivering papers, with the record-breaking snow and bitter-cold weather.
This job gives me a good sense of how to manage money, which is good to learn early. I advise all kids to get a paper route sometime in their life because it gives you good job experience and something to put on your job applications. c
