Did you know that Washington State is the 2nd most voted for having cancer? I feel that life is a special was of getting to know people and feel new thing. With cancer people can’t do that instead they suffer everyday they are alive. Some people/ babies don’t even last a month because they were born with a problem/flu that leads to cancer so fast. We can’t stop babies from having cancer because they get it from their parent’s genes but I know that if the parent could spread that gene of having cancer they shouldn’t have a kid. For other people it just starts off with the flu and that’s when it needs to be treated, before it gets out of control.

I have been researching the topic leukemia for our 8th grade culminating project. Some key things I’ve learned about it are that there are many different types of leukemia, but they all start around the same Symptoms I am focusing mostly on acute myeloid and acute lymphatic and chronic leukemia. I feel that these cancers lead to a lot of things and are mostly the starters all of cancers. I hope that we can do more for people with cancer.

One day I hope that Washington state won’t be the 2nd highest rating cancer place in states because that is a really horrible things for the history. I hope that we help more people and save them before they pass away. This is a very important thing. Less people with cancer would be a great state.

One other impactful aspect of the topic I explored is that cancer normally starts from the flu which we could watch out for. Bruising is normally a cause to so if you see one that isn’t normally there or didn’t do anything to get it make sure you go to a doctor. I hope that people don’t try to get cancer or say they have it just to get medical card. I hope that doctors try really hard to stop the cancer cells.

This has shown me that cancer has gotten out of control and we need to find more ways to stop these cells going abnormal, learn about this topic and having people that I know have it , makes me want to learn even more and what would help and what wouldn’t.

I think the way I want this project to impact me is by wanting to learn more and save more people. It makes me want to be somebody that will save more people dying of cancer then they do now, I don’t think that people should be suffering. I can’t wait to see cancer be less in the Washington state. Less cancer equals more happy people.
