College Admissions MAG
What's it matter? It's only your life
at least, that's what everyone tells me.
Insert your life history here,
... words, numbers, descriptions, clubs, achievements
they're not interested in me, no not me,
maybe the statistic I fall under,
but not me, never me.
The pencil is not my sweat,
my tears, my victories,
my participation, my concerns, my influences,
my intelligence, my ethnic relations, my future,
my friendship, my character,
my life.
If they like my statistic,
I might get to go to a school that offers
"the best academic freedom and diversity a university has to offer"
Did they all tie for first?
Are they all right for me?
All I have to judge them is numbers, statistics,
words, phrases, pictures, and advertisements ...
I enter the business world,
and stab my personality with a number 2 pencil.
