Mr. Earl Wall
I believe the baest candidate for educator of the year is Mr. Earl Wall from Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas. He is a positve roll model for kids of all ages. Mr. Wall has been teaching for I know about 30+ years. He is our Student Council sponsor and has been for as long as I have been in high school and I am now a senior. He also teaches the Government classes for seniors. I take his AP course and he really makes learning about government fun. Especially for me, since I have no interest in it. He's the average serious teacher. He's laid back and expects the best from each of us. If you're not in Student Council, he gives extra points if you do want to participate in an activity.
I know that Mr. Wall use to teach at a different school a very long time ago. He taught my uncle, who i know is about 53. It's really cool to see someone still going in their proffession after so many years. Especially since he hasn't become bitter. Mr. Wall is perhaps one of my most respected teachers I've had since I've been in school. On an average day we usually take notes, but they are discussed thoroughly. I can't recall a day I haven't laughed in his class.
Just recently we had a principle pass away in a deadly car crash. And now Mr. Wall has come up with the Findley Scholarship in honor of her name. He also coordinated the memorial service for her.
Mr. Wall has been giving back and helping our school for a very long time. Alot of us just wish to show him how important he really is to all of us. I want to show him that without the hard work he does for our student body, high school here at our school wouldn't be the same.
