Senior Chief is the definition of excitement. He is happy and loud all the time. He tells jokes every morning to wake us up. The one thing he says every morning is you guys sound like it’s Friday, but we are really sounding like it is Monday.

Senior Chief is always energized and happy every morning when I have his class. He is always loud and tells jokes in the morning just to make us happy and full of laughter. I look forward to his class every day. The class is like my cup of coffee.  Senior Chief not only teaches us to wear our uniform properly he also teaches us military manners and life lessons. The life lessons are very helpful, and he teaches us not to make the same mistakes. He teaches us about the military and the obstacles you have to take to get into military. He also stresses to us to do well in school, and he motivates us to get good grades.

He shares funny stories of when he was in the Navy and of his childhood. He has a lot of stories, especially about Prince Billowits.  He told us that he did some funny stuff, and we always crack up when we hear those stories.

Senior Chief’s class is probably my favorite class. It is because I want to be in the military, and his class helps me learn some stuff I did not know. We get to learn about military equitique and military ships and other lessons. He teaches the class clear so we understand the topic. By far the class is my favorite this year

Overall, Senior Chief McClain is my favorite instructor. That is why I am nominating him for Educator of the Year. It is the best class to learn from and is very easy to understand. This is my favorite high school class because of Senior Chief McClain
