Me and My Truck
The keys that jingle on my side sound like freedom in my mind. My car keys are the key to my happiness. whenever I am down a long drive seems to make everything better. I will never lose my keys they mean so much to me. Then when i get to see my truck for the first time.
As I sit in the wore dark cloth seat of a dark blue rusty truck.I grab the steering wheel as if I were a nascar driver coming into the last turn of the daytona five hundred. Then I turn the key of freedom then the little four cylinder comes to life. As i take off with the windows down and the wind in my hair I turn up the local country station then cruise into town to show everyone my first truck. But when they see this person get out of the truck they start to laugh.
I am six foot seven taller than the average guy. Wear blue jeans and boots every day and normally a work shirt. Also drive around in a little blue chevy truck covered in racing stickers. Don't really talk to anyone or care what someone thinks of me.
But it's time for little blue chevy s10 with racing stickers to go away. Its is time that means something more to me my grandpas ford f150 that is pearly white and sparkles bright in the sun and means much more to me then my first truck.Time to make more memories then there already is in that truck.
