Dababy Chain
“Let me try on that ice”, “Is that real?”, “Aye Dababy Chain is in”. These are just a few of the things I heard in the bathroom when I pulled the dababy chain out of my pocket, glistening in the light. How did I get this chain you might wonder. It all started on a normal evening after school. I checked the mailbox and saw a package inside it. As I opened the package my eyes caught sight of the sparkling, golden dababy chain. It glittered in the light as I opened it. I thought to myself, “It got real cold in here, probably because of all the ice”. I picked it up and it felt hefty. The glittering, sparkling, golden, hefty dababy chain empowered me as I put it on, “Love Sosa” playing in the background. I put the dababy chain on my dog and it was shining on him. He too felt the power of the dababy chain.
The school bathroom is not very elegant. It smells of poop and pee with the faint smell of mangos and strawberries. The lights were bright with one panel slightly dimmer than the rest. Missing soap dispensers and paper towels. There’s even a lock on one of the doors missing. But one thing that brightened up the bathroom was the glamorous dababy chain. The gold light that came off of it caught everyone’s eye.
A blonde kid around my height comes up and asks to put on the chain. It sparkles in the light on him and he yells, “Boy look at this ice”. His pasty white skin matched with his light blonde hair. He takes a picture before we both scurry out of the bathroom so as not to be caught by the bell.
It isn’t extremely important to me but it makes the day a bit more fun to pull it out of my pocket and make jokes with people. If you're having a bad day and see a bunch of teenage boys wearing a fake chain in the bathroom pretending to be Dababy it could lighten your mood. I will continue to keep this chain on me until all the gold wears out and it looks silver.
