Equality
I first learned of equality when tension between different races started at my school. It was sometime in middle school, very often I would hear arguments and fights between different people. One day word got around that a big fight was going to happen and eventually it got to administrators. Whether it was true or not, the administrators called us in before school was out and spoke to us about the problem. One of the administrators gave a speech saying, “We are all minorities, fighting the same fight, and we should be working together.” After that I felt a real sense of unity and equality between everyone as tensions weakened.
