I have a niece! 

Her name is Maysn and she is almost 4 months old. Maysn is the most beautiful baby girl in the entire world. Seriously. I’m not just saying that because she’s my brother’s daughter. My brother is 26 and he is completely in love with this baby, as we all are. 

The baby looks just like him when he was a baby. Same big head, eye shape, her lips! So stinkin cute though. I mean, my brother’s a nice looking guy, I guess, but I definitely am better looking. 

My brother and Nichole had been trying to have a baby, 

and finally got pregnant with lil Maysn. Nichole had a rough time though because she was so sick. The baby was born prematurely at 34 weeks. 

She stayed on a machine for 2 or 3 weeks to make sure 

she was getting plenty of oxygen. She was so small, 4 pounds at birth. Nichole was super sad when she had to come home and leave her baby at the hospital. 

But everyday my bro and her would go up and see baby Maysn at the hospital to bond and make sure she’s ok..

Finally, the day came when this baby could come home. They live with my mom and I, by the way. My mom helps them with the baby, and since my Dad died, we stay close. 

Anyway, baby comes home and she’s so happy and adorable! 

So small and perfect! 

Her room is right next to mine, so I hear all her cute lil noises. Her coo’s and cries. They have everything for this baby that she needs 

and probably doesn’t. Spoiled already. 

I hold her every chance I get. Oh and she was born May 11th, the day after my birthday! I’m pretty sure my Dad has a hand in making sure that Maysn was brought safely into the world. God too. I love her little hairline. 

It looks like she’s going to be a blonde like me. Or I was. It’s 

gotten darker as I get older. 

She’s going to have blue eyes, like my brother and she has the cutest dimple on one side. I’m the only other one in the family that has 

dimples, so maybe she got it from me? 

She’s 4 months now and has these lil baby fat rolls. The kind they 

get on her wrists and baby legs. She’s also a good eater like her 

Uncle. 

Whenever I go to her crib, she looks at me and smiles and when

I talk to her she’s got the cute little giggles. When I pick her up, my mom and I agree, she makes your insides feel good! We are obsessed. Just wish Dad was here. I mean he’s here in spirit, but you know.. here, here. Mom said Dad always wanted a baby girl. 

She will be loved and spoiled and squeezed! My mom Says “It takes a village”
