My Name

In English my name means valiant. In Irish my name means courageous. My name is like the number 6. Simple, but not too easy. A very dark blue or violet color close to black. The sounds you hear when you think of a calm, peaceful time. Sitting on the beach watching the sunset. In the car at night on an empty freeway. Hearing the birds chirp on a warm sunny day.

My name was chosen because my parents liked the name best. My parents picked my name with help from my two older brothers. I wasn't named after anyone. My name was picked to be original. My name was picked to last with time. My name wasn't chosen because of anything special.

My name has a nice flow to it (Rye-Lee). My name is not rocky and bumpy like other names. My name flows like a waterfall into a calm river.

My name was a males name before a female's name. But my name is most popular for girls as of now. In the past my name was more common for boys. Maybe the girls just have a boy's name…

My name doesn't really have many nicknames. You can shorten it and it just becomes Ri, but usually I just go by Riley. Sometimes my parents Call me by Ri but not too often. I like my name As Riley.

I would Like to keep my name, perhaps there is a reason my name is what it is. Maybe there is a deeper meaning to my name.

My name was meant to be great. My name was meant to achieve goals. My name was made to not back down from challenges. Given to only people who can handle it.

People like me.
