THE HALLWAY
It’s 7:19 in the morning as I walk through the crowded halls of Arrowhead high school. My heart skips a beat when I see a group of girls walking down the hallway laughing and looking in my direction. “Are they laughing at me?” I ask myself. My anxious tic arises as I continue to walk down the hallway passing groups of boys and girls. My eyes scan each and every person hoping there’s not a rumor going around. Finally the school bell rings at 7:25, in which everyone heads towards their first hour class. My heart beat eventually goes back to normal as I am out of the overfilled hallway. “Maybe I was just imagining things before, maybe nothing happened at all” I reassured myself as I sat back in my chair worry free.
