Not one but me
Hands unfurled and shot maddeningly towards the heavens, twenty unbridled gasps, individual yet caught in a miasma of sameness, all anticipating and teeming with enthusiasm and yet obscured by layers and layers of identical pleasure. One trembled in the classroom corner where it did not belong. “Yes, you may go first.” Amidst the jeers and jealous admonishing, then my silent stuttering and precarious speech, the world afterwards felt resolved in its tranquility and gleefully unrestrained. I did this over again, and again, and again, until the mere act of it felt masochistic, then disturbed, then exhilarating, then finally normal.
