Addiction
Liquir bottles paint our shelves. Cigarette musk seaps through the walls. The taste of sweet grass lingers on my tongue. Faint breaths of the evil monster, know as addiction, grazes over my shoulders. It spins me throughout the day, fixing it's eyes on mine. Tempting me. Wanting me. Calling me. Screaming at me!
Addiction isn't a feeling. It's not an emotion. Nor is it a reminder. It's a way of life A desease. Like cancer, almost. Only people never blame the those who get cancer. Nobody tells cancer survivors that they are weak. Cancer is dealt with, with sweetness and care. One thing they both have in common, however, they both spread... Through out your body, through out your blood stream, through out your life.
