Fate or Destiny
As I walked into the PLC, a thought of terror came over me. As I roamed the halls, I frantically looked for my room, just hoping I wouldn’t be late on the first day of second grade. Then suddenly, I came across a room that looked quite familiar. Then it all came back to me. I remembered back to day I visited my new classroom, and then I remembered that this was the class I visited on that day.
I walked in the room, and the sound of many voices filled my ears. As I looked around the room, I saw many familiar faces from the year before. After I said my hellos, I swiftly moved to my seat. As I was unpacking, I noticed a young boy with a striped shirt and slicked back hair sitting next to me unpacking his things as well. He glanced over at me and offered me a big smile, ’Hi, my name’s Matt Rogers. What’s your name?”
“Hi, I’m Roger,” I said offering a smile back.
Little did I know that that would be the beginning to a long friendship.
