A Lifestyle
Writing is not just a way of life, it is a lifestyle. You go through so many different processes that aggravate you to the point where you just want to give up. Writing, to me, has never been a chore or an assignment, it is a passion of mine. When one of my teachers even says to get out a piece of paper to take notes, I get giddy and excited inside. When people make snark remarks or comments to me about writing, I just brush them off my shoulders. I have a very supportive family and relatives that back me and my writing up 100%. Everything I could have imagined about writing has come true in so many ways. My life long goal is to become a journalist. Writing is an escape to me and I think a lot of other people in the world. It gives us a place to write our thoughts and feelings down. It also produces the books we read and write today. Again, writing is not just a way of life, it is a lifestyle.
