Scared
Scared as an old, cranky, gray dog is of a thunderstorm. The pouring down of the rain going "Thump...Thump...Thump." Instead of going "Pitter Patter, pitter patter, pitter patter." The day time sky isn't its usual cloudless, baby blue cheery self, but dark. Dark as the night sky or dark like a dungeons lar in the night.
Deep dark, gray clouds fill the sky to its never-ending death so that it can no longer see its beautiful earth. They open occasionally to fill the sky with bright cracks of lightning to be followed by a "BOOM!" like a bomb being dropped on Japan. The lightning tries to light up the sky but it can't because they sky is terrified of the world. Everything is in black and white and gray and the world is at a stand still. No one is moving but you and time has started moving as slow as a snail. It is as though the world has ended and you are the only survivor. Your body is at a stand still and your feet are cemented to the ground. Thick, dry, heavy cement cover your feet and you can't go where you need to go or let alone move. You don't know what to and no one will help because there is no one. Seconds feel like minutes, minutes feel like hours, hours like days, days like weeks, weeks like months, months like years. Time is taking forever and I am scared.
