It's Because
He says, “ I love you”. But for some reason I don’t believe him. It’s because his voice lacked any emotion and he was just saying it because he felt obligated. It’s because we had the exact same conversation we had last month and the month before that and the month before that. It’s because we say it out of habit every time we talk on the phone. I used to believe him but after having the same conversation over and over and he doesn’t realize it or care to remember what I say I don’t anymore. It’s because after going to spend time with him all he does is push me away. It’s because I love you doesn’t mean the same thing it used to.
