Baseball MAG
"Strike One!" said the ump
who seemed like a lion
With the odds on the tall one
I moved out of the dreadful box
I stared at the stiff bat
Then I looked over the battlefield
As I stood in the ozone,
the sweat dripping from my earnest face
I looked at the tall one's painted smile
Too good
The tall one curled and threw
the growing ball
My reaction was too quick
for the twirling devil
I made contact,
but the ball went toward a chanting fan
The next pitch hit the bat hard
A shocking sound
The devil cried
The ball sailed smoothly, like a ship
Then fell down into the cave behind the green monster
We won
