A Dream Come True
The day we had all been preparing for was finally here, State. I had been imagining this day for six, long months. I could not believe one of the biggest days of my high school career was finally here. I woke up that morning, and jumped out of my comfortable bed. I had never been so excited to wake up in my entire life. I dashed down the stairs to the delicious smell of bacon. After I ate my fulfilling breakfast, I decided to take a shower to calm myself down. After my warm, relaxing shower, I put on my volleyball uniform. Pulling the brown uniform over my head and legs, made me realize that we were really playing in the State finals game. Finally, it was time to leave my cozy house, and drive to Mount Carmel to prepare for the big game.
