The Things We Lost
Summary:
Daniela is a young girl who is being swept into the middle of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The story is written about the actual Russian invasion that is happening right now but is set in 1965. The story is written about her escape from Bucha. It talks about the many losses she has along the way and the things that she finds out about herself as the invasion progresses. It also talks about her sister as well. I am trying to encapsulate the things that Ukrainian people go through and was based on extensive research that I did to gain knowledge on what they are going through.
