Summary:

At thirteen, Nick and Leesa knew San Francisco's Chinatown better than people that had lived there for decades. Working for the crime syndicate the Black Pearl Tong, such skills came in handy. Until Nick left the Tong and left his life of crime behind. What good is knowing every nook and cranny of a city when returning means facing his old bosses' wrath?

Now, halfway through college and acrosss the country, Nick is seizing his oppurtunity to start again.  But when Nick hears that the crime syndicate's leaders were arrested in a devastating dismantaling of the organization, he realizes that he might be able to return to San Francisco after all; maybe he might make it to his girlfriend Zoe's sister's wedding in Marin after all.

He must only pray that there aren't hidden enemies hiding in plain sight.
