The Rain MAG
The Rain
The rain it falls, it falls, it falls ...
There are people crying because people are dying,
and the ozone continues to deplete.
There are people drilling for the oil that's killing,
and people sleep on the street.
There are children learning while the economy's yearning,
and trying to find jobs for its youths.
There are people shaking because of the drugs they are taking,
and great minds are choked by society's noose.
There are people fighting a war and we don't know what for,
and L.A. is now in shambles.
There are people who don't see that they're killing the tree
and the insane man continues his rambles.
There are people who are dead and their blood shouldn't be
shed,
and the killer walks around free.
There are problems today that are too many to say,
and they affect both you and me.
But, the rain still falls, it falls, it falls.
