Peer Pressure
In my opinion there is no such thing as peer pressure. I think peer pressure is just something that people can blame things on. I also think that parents use this as a way for kids not to do certain things. So here is why I think there is no such thing as peer pressure.
People often blame things on peer pressure. I think it is a way for people not to get in as much trouble. When people say because everyone else is doing it all you have to say is, I'm not doing it, and walk away. That is why there is no such thing as peer pressure. All you have to say is "NO."
Parents and adults often warn kids of peer pressure. I think they just don't want their kids doing something and scaring them so they don't do whatever it is. I think it is pretty easy just to say NO to anything. There is another reason why I think peer pressure is just made up.
People on the television always talk about kids and peer pressure. You are aloud to make choices on your own that is why I think it is dumb. You can either choose to do it or choose not to do it. You always have the choice not to do something no matter what it is.
Those are some reasons and examples I do not believe in peer pressure. So do you still believe in peer pressure?
