About eight years ago, every time I went to the cafeteria, someone always found something gross and disgusting in the food. Something is always going on, it can be something someone sees, eats, tastes, or smells. If you ask children who went to the cafeteria years ago, they will tell you millions of stories of times they have experienced with the cafeteria’s food. I personally, have heard people find worms in their food, hairs, and many other disgusting things you can imagine. I have also heard that people find their chicken raw, or that their meat is so hard it is complicated to chew. The school has tried to improve this problem, and I have heard the school has done somewhat a good job on it. In my opinion, I think the school can still do a better job with it.
I understand it is hard to make food for so many students, and that each single student likes and enjoys the food, however, I sometimes get the impression that the cafeteria’s food could be better. Most of the students will be happier with an improved food. The menu varies everyday and it’s very healthy too. In one hand, the students have a lot of different variation from where to choose, on the other hand, the menus and the variations of food are very complex to make. I suggest the school to create healthy and appropriate menus. They have to keep it simple as they need to feed around 1000 students.
I also think that if the environment of the cafeteria was less crowded, and cleaner, students could be able to eat more pleasantly and enjoy better their food. When I went to the cafeteria to eat lunch, I always saw birds flying into and out the cafeteria. People were always nervous that the bird would poop in their food and so that made it more complicated to enjoy food. I believe there is a relationship in the environment and the quality of the food.
As I have heard all this bad things about the Cafeteria’s food, I have also heard that the school is aware of this issue and has done its best to improve it. However, today many students don’t go to the cafeteria because of past experiences. They have the mentality that the cafeteria is not a pleasant place to eat and that the food is not.
