This book is an extraordinary book to me. This book will allow you to experience excitement, love, and heartbreak. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I simply didn’t want to stop reading this book. It’s the perfect mixture of a drama, and a mission impossible story. This book is excellently written by Oliver Brown and well executed. I hope to prove it in these next few paragraphs to you.
Humiliated and stripped of his rank of Master Assassin, Altair Ibn-La’Ahad our main character, must change his ruthless and careless ways of assassinating and becoming the calm, collected assassin again to regain the lost trust of his master Al Mualim. Altair returns to his younger days of training and re-learn the ways of the assassin, top to bottom. The Master tested the skills he has been given. The test is to assassinate the 9 leaders of the assassin’s rival organization, the Templars.

This book takes place in the late 1100’s and early 1200’s. It is about two secret organizations both determined to create world peace. If you’re asking “why don’t they just work together?” it’s because they used to work together. There were 10 holders of the mystical piece called the Apple of Eden. They had all controlled its power and used it only to ensure peace in the world. Eventually though one of the 10 had thought of a new way of peace, one that would happen without the mind controlling apple. This new way ended up causing war throughout the Earth

As I said earlier the book is a very good story. The author though gets a little too wordy. In some cities that you only see once, he’ll take a page to describe it and another to describe how Altair will get into the city. It was kind of a drag, I had wished he had gotten to the point a little faster. He could’ve described how Altair got into the city. It also would have been nice to see Altair’s possible background with the city.
The story was captivating, at times though it got hard with too many characters to remember. I do like how he described Altair’s feelings about all the characters and how he had voiced Altair’s disgust with the ones Altair didn’t like.

In all I would say this story is very well written and a great long read. I would recommend this story for young adults to adults for it’s almost never ending excitement and it’s humor at the perfect moments.

I made a review of this book because I loved everything about Assassin's Creed since I played the first game. I decided to write a review for the book since I wanted to write a review of the traditional book.
