An open letter to Unappreciative people
This is to all the ungrateful people,
It seems like the more you get, the more you want. It's like an addiction, you're never satisfied with what you have. It annoys me when I see someone complaining about their struggle to get those new pair of shoes they really want that cost five hundred dollars, when there are people in the streets with less food and clothes than you and yet they still manage to put a smile in their face and say thank you when a stranger gives them one dollar. What annoys me even more is when people throw half of their meal away or have their refrigerator and cabinets full of food and yet they still complain about how there is NOTHING to eat. How can you say that YOU have nothing to eat when one third of the world population is starving, wishing they could at least have some of those veggies that you threw out. Some people have to work ten times harder to get half of what you have. You're so self-centered and don't realize that there are people around you struggling, who are way worse than you, who have no job or a place to call home. People who are worried about how they will survive the day while you're worried about what you will wear tomorrow. And I know you're not to blame for others' struggles but the least you could do is appreciate the life you have. I'm not saying to settle for less especially not when it comes to things such as reaching goals and chasing dreams. What i'm saying is don't take anything you have for granted. Now, if you don't like what you have and you want to better yourself then do something about it, make a change. You're not gonna get a million dollars out of the blue. Certainly not by sitting your lazy bum on the couch, complaining about how difficult your life is. Stop feeling bad for yourself, it won't change a thing. I hope one day you realize how fortunate you are before it's too late.
Sincerely,
from all the annoyed ones who can't stand unappreciative people
To all of you who walk around like you own the earth.
