She's Only Five
In the month of November 2013 issue of Teen Ink, Alicia Gonzales in her heartbreaking experience in her article “She’s Only Five.”
In Alicia’s article “She’s Only Five” Alicia expresses her love for a wonderful five-year-old girl named Natalia. Natalia is homeless and living in a shelter. As the two girls express their feelings, Alicia became attached to the young five-year-old girl. I feel sad for both Natalia and Alicia because no child should have to go through the experience of being homeless and not having anyone to take care of and love them like a mother and father should. I think it’s really sad that any child goes through that. As for Alicia I feel for her because I wouldn’t want to become attached to a little girl like Natalia for a short period of time and then have to leave her. I think it is so saddening to know that anyone has to go through this.
