The first animal clone was a tadpole in 1952. The first mammal to be cloned was Dolly the sheep in 1996. The cloning process was successful after 277 attempted tries. Do you think it would ethical to clone a human?
I think it would be good. In the process of cloning a human, we could discover the solution to many medical mysteries. Even though it would be expensive it would pay off in the end. We could find cures to cancer and many other deadly diseases.
It would also benefit couples that are unable to have children. We could use human tissue from the couple to make a baby version of them.
Issues about human cloning is that the success rate is very low. Also, many religious people think that cloning humans takes away God's power to make people. It would now be able to be done in a lab room.
There's a lot of controversy on the topic. What do you think?
