Wet Foot/Dry Foot Policy
The wet foot dry foot policy allows for Cubans who have been found on U.S. soil to stay here. But if they are found at sea travelling to U.S. soil, they are sent back to Cuba. This is unfair to other ethnic groups because if their country is struggling through economic hardship and they come to America illegally, they are still at risk of being deported. This is also not a good message to send out that if you are struggling through economic hardship, you should try to leave and come to America.
