My safe place.
You were right. I hate to admit it. You were my safe place. You made me feel as if I was like a feather when you touched me. When you held me I knew I couldn't be safer. My savior is hiding me from the ugliness of the world. So you were right, you won this battle. My security blanket. There are no other words to say to you besides thank you. You made me feel invincible, you made me feel whole. The way you rubbed my hand with your thumb as we held hands or the way you would make sure I had the best day because of a silly story I told you. You remembered the small things like how I love motivation quotes or cows. You really know how to make a girl feel special. I lost your trust. I thought we weren't ready for forever. That wasn't true, I wasn't ready. I need you to know I appreciate you. I loved you. So my safe place, my savior, my light, I hope you show someone who is in need of love the right person to fall in love with.
