I would like to believe that I am extremely tough, well not physically. Powerful. Patient. Passionate. I was raised in a head strong family, raised to be persistent and be proactive. But, it’s draining. I am tough, but not ALL the time. I brush off destructive criticism and learn to use that as motivation to succeed. My family indirectly preaches: “The world doesn’t care to hear the sad stories.” Being mentally tough to me means that clear thinking comes before your emotions. Tears streaming down faces like a river. Emotions= letting your wall down. Why would I want that?
