Blood and Family
In some cases, blood is important. To a shark, blood is a beacon in a sea of darkness and confusion of where to find food. But, in some cases some people would rather have water. A father, who beats his child in a drunken rage is your blood. Or a mother who is a drug addict and puts those needs in front of her children's needs is your blood. But do you want them to be, your blood. In my view the title of family is not a right given by being someones blood. It's something you earn by being there for someone when they need it. In my life i have lost a father, but gained a sister. So to all the people who have earned that title, thank you.
