College Should Be Free
The writing titled “College Should Be Free,” written by Jeb, talks about how college should be free and how free college would help our society. I disagree with this. “Why can’t state governments understand that free college is an investment that would pay off.” the author stated. If college was free, taxes would have to rise to cover the costs of the colleges. If the taxes rose the lower class people wouldn’t be able to afford the living costs with things like dorms and food. The author said, “If our economy is to be strong we need the best educated workforce in the world.” For quite a few jobs in the world, you need more of a trade school than a college education. Therefore, I disagree with free college education.
