Girl Auction
I wholeheartedly agree with Shelby Bouck in he article "Girl Auction", because I can relate to her completely , her story came to life and made me feel like I was there. The embarrassment I would feel if no one bid for me , it would become horrible and leave me with a well developed acing in my chest were my self esteem used to be. The awkwardness of being in front of many people and not having anyone to bid for me even for charity. That is just not right , for any teenage girl , to feel unwanted . Also , having the principal take pity and bid for you , a date with the principle how horrible does that sound ! Thank You Shelby for bringing to life the reality of High School.
