paralympics athlete
Paralympic Games participants may have different causes of their disability.
Some are birth defects and also very serious diseases
Some are injured of war or they had an accident that have made them lose the use of one or more members.
I think that sport can give these people the desire to go beyond their handicap.
Even if the tests are adapted to them, the efforts they provide are enormous.
Among all these athletes we can see that they are people with a big mind and an amazing tenacity.
Personally, if I was in their place, I could not do everything they do because I am not sure of having the will.
Living amputated, I would find it unlivable, too tough to accept.
If one day I have an accident and had to change my lifestyle for the rest of my life, it would be like being condemned.
What I find deplorable is some valid people insult and denigrate them.
They did not choose to be like that. They’ve got the right to live like everyone.
These athletes are an example of successful for all of us.
We’re gonna see the next Paralympics games in Tokyo, Japan.
