Silently Dying
I listen by the door
Oh what I hear
The crashing of plates
The falling of tears
What could have caused it?
Had I been so naive
That I did not notice
Your growing grieve
If I had would it have mattered?
Would it have changed your decision?
Could I have talked you through it?
Would I still be in this situation?
Well now it’s too late
No point dwelling in the past
I just wish I could have postponed it
But it was an inevitable crash
Now I wonder,
After all is said and done
Are you sad and crying?
Do you regret what you have done?
What are you doing now?
Are you feeling the same pain as I?
If you could go back would you change it?
Are you empty with no tears left to cry?
Even if you are feeling the same
I know you would not come to me
Caught up in pride, we both suffer
Silently dying lonely
