Never Forget
In the year 1933,
Hell broke loose.
Germans and Europeans
Formed the Nazi group
Led by Hitler…
The devil himself
6 million Jews
2 million others
Dead, innocent, dead
Auschwitz, Dachau, Grossraven
Camps where Jews were tortured
Separated from loved ones
Weakened and starved to death
900,000 survived
But was survival what they really wanted?
Living alone
With treacherous memories
Not able to sleep at night
Not able to happily walk the streets
Marked forever with numbers upon their arms
73 years later
Some still stand
Sharing their story
Not to forget
Proud to carry on
Their legacy
Eager to show this generation
The past
To never forget
