She fell into love
Timid but willing
It was warm and cozy
Everything she could have dreamed of
For two years she stayed in the sanctuary of love
Ignoring the holes that appeared
She stitched them together
This love too much to loose
But she found a rip too big to sew
It grew until one day she fell through
Somehow knowing it would come
Praying it wouldn’t
The moment she needed love the most
She found it to be tissue thin
And now she falls through the darkness
Spinning
Dizzy
Confused
Her heart it two
Now she sees her love was a jail
Keeping her in the dim fading light
Away from the beauty outside
She has seen through the walls a shinning light
Of a soul so bright
And angel he might be
She is now free to see
Lifted by the hands of the angel
So gentle and kind
Will he take her away?
To remember to love
To trust
To forget a world she once walked
And if he takes her will she go?
And turn away
From the only love she has known
But she has come to realize
Her darkest hour
Was the key to a shrinking cage
Open your eyes
To find that when broken
Your heart will heal twice as strong
