Just his Way
He smiles so kindly at me
And he says the corniest things
But hearing him say them
Somehow makes them sound sweet
He never seems to comb his hair
It always sticking up everywhere
But I can’t complain
For some reason it looks adorable
He never studies but gets all as
I can barely manage a B
But looking at that sheepish smile
I can’t get mad at him
He has to skip our Friday movie
To go to a guy’s night out
But when he shows up with flowers the next day
I know that I will forgive him
He likes to tease my love for poetry
Saying I’m too young to be a philosopher
But I know he’s just playing
It’s just his way
