Loving My Hurts
Yes, I have stretch marks, tummy rolls, and scars. Yes, I love them; I love every single part of me. No, I am not afraid to eat all the cookie dough or wear risky outfits. Why? Because I love myself. I love my stretch marks because they all represent my growth in life. I love my tummy rolls because that means I am blessed enough to have good food to eat. I love my scars because every single one of them has a story. And NO, I don’t want to be perfect because perfect isn’t realistic. I am.
I quickly learned when I was little, I was always bigger and had those stricking thunder thighs and tummy rolls. I am just learning to love them now.
