Make Me Clean
Unclean
Covered in dust, mud, dirt
A sight You've often seen
Clean the sins of today away
Make me clean, I know the price You had to pay
Wash me in Your blood
Let the water come on like a flood
A flood of purity, of love
Make me clean, Jesus above
Not worthy to be saved
You saved me anyways
Not worthy to be clean
I know all of the sins You've seen
Not worthy of Your love
Not innocent like a child, like a dove
I'm unclean
Sin is stained on to my skin
Evil imprinted into my soul within
Yet You care
And yet, You're always there
Though I'm unclean
Rude, and often mean
You wash me daily
In a river of Your grace
Your face
Shines with what I want to be
Free
Clean
