The Lost
I turn around spinning in circles,
Your face taped across the top of every room,
You know we left each other for a reason,
No more do I seem to know that,
Back is where I want you,
To see me from afar,
From the one whom you have now found love,
Once again do I wish to see what can't be seen,
With all my human heart to heal by the beat,
Of your heart drumming against me,
In my dreams only,
For I have lost you and yet hope to see,
The past that we left behind still heeds us,
Warning of fair play ahead,
Hopes and dreams lie in waiting,
For you, for me, the lost.
