Purpose
Sometimes I wonder
What is the purpose of my life?
Why...was I put here on this planet?
Surely it is not to rot away in my room which my mother
describes as being a nest or a cave
Then I think about the Latin phrase,
“Deus Ex Machina”
Could this describe my nearly worthless existence?
Could it be that one day, one day
I will act as a trigger that sets something into
Motion
Could I be that almost useless...
But completely necessary element in someone else's
LIFE?
If so...
That makes me very happy
Because then, only then
MY EXISTENCE WOULD NO LONGER BE worthless.
