Funhouse Mirrors
Walking through those doors
Looking at those mirrors
Seeing a different me
Tall or short, fat or thin
I walk up to one
And look closely
I do not see the real me
Just the outside
In the inside
There are things
That no one understands
About me
Only I know
What I am like
And no weird mirror
Can change that
So I walk away
From those mirrors
More confident
Than I was before
I am who I am
Through and through
Nothing can change that
Not even you
