Rain Dances

the sun sets on a rainy day
trying to throw the past away
seems so hard to forget
with all this rain on my head
everything used to seem
easy (easy)
we're always hoping for things to get better
looking for that sunny weather
but the sun likes to hide
away for some time
when the sun goes down
what happens then
when the sun goes down
where do you stand
have to make our own chances
do our own rain dances
have to make our own way of living
until the sun comes out again
