Silly Bird
They say she’s a silly bird.
A greedy bird,
but a pretty bird.
Although she’s really just a lonely bird,
Who dreams to spread her wings and fly out of her cage.
They clipped her wings,
And lost the key.
So there she shall stay.
Every day they force her to sing,
until her voice withers away.
What a silly bird,
They say.
